How It Works

Complete Your Pre-Assessment

Before your appointment, you’ll complete a menopause questionnaire covering your symptoms and medical history. We review this in advance so more of your consultation can focus on you.

Initial Consultation

We’ll take a detailed look at your history, concerns and expectations, then create a personalised treatment plan based on your individual needs.

Review Your Progress

A review is usually recommended 2–3 months later to assess how you’re responding to treatment and make adjustments where needed.

Ongoing Support

Once you’re settled on treatment, we can write to your GP so they may take over prescribing, if appropriate. Alternatively, you can continue receiving private prescriptions through our service.

UNDERSTANDING MENOPAUSE

Every Woman Experiences Menopause Differently

Menopause is a natural stage of life caused by changes in hormone levels, typically occurring between the ages of 45 and 55. However, symptoms can begin earlier during the perimenopause stage.

For many women, these hormonal changes can cause a range of symptoms that impact both physical health and emotional wellbeing. Everyone’s experience is different, which is why personalised support can make a significant difference in managing symptoms.

WE'RE HERE TO HELP

Menopause Support Tailored to You

At Priors Hill Pharmacy, we understand that menopause can affect many areas of your life. Some women feel unsure about what changes are normal, while others may have tried different approaches without finding relief.

Our menopause consultations provide a safe and supportive space where you can openly discuss your symptoms, concerns and health goals.

Our aim is to help women. If you feel your consultation did not benefit you, I am happy to offer a 100% money back guarantee on consultation fees if you let us know within 7 days of your consultation.

Treatment options we may discuss:

HRT replaces declining hormone levels and can help relieve symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats and mood changes.
For some women, testosterone therapy may help improve symptoms such as low energy, reduced libido and fatigue.
Local oestrogen treatments may help relieve vaginal dryness, discomfort or urinary symptoms.
Some women prefer non-hormonal treatments or lifestyle approaches, which we can also explore during your consultation.
